I was born and raised in Juneau, Alaska. After graduating from high school, I joined the US Army and served as a Heavy Weapons Infantryman. Until 2013, I owned and operated my own businesses in Gustavus, Alaska, the gateway community to Glacier Bay National Park. I began my studies at Oregon State University in the fall term of 2015. I am currently an intern at NuScale Power in Corvallis. I work for the System Engineering Group and I have enjoyed learning from the people there. I have experience in operations management, supply chain and logistics, and customer service. During my time at OSU I have learned circuit design principles, C and C++ programming, MATLAB, Simulink, and SharePoint. I will graduate in the Spring of 2020.
