I have a strong interest in technology field and I find my-self pursuing computer science as my career major. Through observation, I see that technology and science was being able to improve and advance thanks to people from different places and field of interest come together and cooperate. The mind of a single person no matter how smart will not be effective as groups working together, overcoming the challenge with people from different background also help the individuals gain knowledge and see the word anew. When I was in high school, I did not know much about computer hardware, which gave me the desire to know more what is hidden inside computer and how they work. That is why I found my-self taking an intern as a Dell technician for 3 months. I have been able to learn a lot about hardware, software related issue and the way to solve them. I am also gain precious experience on customer service thanks to the coworker; not only that they taught me a lot but also help me to find purpose in what I do. In 10 grades, I attended a competition named Genius Olympiad with the hope that I will be able to make something practical and improve living standard. I was working as a group to make a “smart house” with the intention to make a low-cost system that can manage the house through cellular device. Not only technical skill that I gain, I’m also make a lot of friend and learned how to work as a group. My future dream is being able to make a portable garden on the roof so that anyone in my country can have a clean and reliable source of food. Currently, I'm working with a group of EEC and CS on a Vertical Irrigation Controller. The purpose is to make a diagnostic tools for the garden with simple and ease to use interface. The user can access and see their garden information from a webpage along with controlling the sprinkler system. As raspberry Pi and embedded Iot system is new to me, I'm hoping to learn a lot through doing this project.
