About

Hi there, my name is Mack. I'm currently a 4th year Electrical and Computer Engineering student at Oregon State, graduating Spring of 2020. I really enjoy working under all things related to renewable energy, as I believe it is one of the easiest fields to make a tangible difference as an ECE major. I've previously worked under the United States Army Corps of Engineers Hydroelectric Design Center, which meant I got hands-on experience with hydroelectric dams all around the Pacific Northwest. I learned a great deal during my time there, and it only re-affirmed my love for working on clean energy solutions. Currently, I am planning to return there after my graduation. Another area I'd like to work on in the future is hybrid and electric vehicles. My dad has been working on cars ever since I can remember, and I can thank him for my similar fascination with them as well. I feel this area of study would allow me to mix two of my passions, while making a positive impact on our future.
