About

My love of programming as a creative outlet and hobby began in middle school when I built my first computer out of recycled parts, but only truly started moving when I joined my high school's robotics team. As programming lead for the robotics team, I wrote the code that guided the our bots through their challenges, all the way to the world championship in 2016. I also had my first internship in high school; working for Autodesk taught my how to tackle larger problems as part of a team. In college, I have found my passion within the field of Computer Science: artificial intelligence and machine learning. As an intern for CMD I built the back-end for a web based artificial intelligence application and as a student at Oregon State I am working toward a thesis on machine learning. Through these experiences, I have realized that the best way to learn is to do. I cannot wait for my next opportunity to widen my knowledge of computers and machine learning. Specialties: Languages: C, C++, C# Academic: Machine Learning, Algorithms, Parallel Computing, Computer Graphics
