About

I am a junior in OSU’s electrical and computer engineering program. I have traveled extensively, living and working abroad for a decade, including teaching English and yoga. My program’s material is in direct juxtaposition of my time abroad and I greatly enjoy the difference and challenge. While the material in my program has felt like a relative deluge I do not regret pursuing the program. The detail of knowledge in an engineering program is a joy, wondrous, and I would not have my life any other way. I currently work as an Energy Analyst at OSU’s Energy Efficiency Center, leading audits and writing efficiency reports for industrial sites around the PNW. I also work as a teacher’s lab assistant (TA) for introductory courses in my program. I worked for over a year in a student work-study position at Clackamas Community College, fulfilling the role of Plant Engineering Assistant. My first engineering internship was at Heart Transverter, where I worked as an manufacturing technician. My second engineering internship was completed at ZincFive, a company building new backup battery technology. During my final intern project with ZincFive, I built an AC/DC testing apparatus to increase the manufacturing testing process. My academic interests include computer engineering and power systems. I’m hoping to apply the skills I have learned from my undergrad degree in upcoming intern and career positions.
