As an aspiring Electrical Engineer looking to enter the Energy Industry, Ian is aiming to complete his last year at Oregon State University to obtain his B.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering, along with minors in Mathematics & Finance in Spring 2021. Considering his main interest lie within the generation, transmission, and distribution of power, he strives for any opportunity to expand his technical knowledge along these lines. He has gained experience working at Diesel and Nuclear Power Plants working alongside engineers and technicians performing maintenance and improvements on ensuring the operating functionality of varying systems and components. Outside of his career interests, Ian was born and raised on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. Growing up, he has a passion for the outdoors spending a lot of time at the beach, hiking, and exploring every nook and cranny possible wherever he is. Ian also loves to listen to music and expanding his technical skills in Photography as well as Graphic Design.
