My name is Jia Yi(Jayee) Li, I am majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering and minoring in Computer Science at Oregon State University. My current academic focus area is Deep Learning and Computer Vision Applications. My senior capstone project is the NASA University Student Launch Initiative (check out the project description at the bottom of this page). I am the Software Lead on the Payload Subteam. I designed and developed the Rover Remote Control System, Wireless Data Transmission System, and Rover Graphic User Interface. Furthermore, I participated in a Computer Vision and Deep Learning research project with a professor at OSU. I interned at Daimler Trucks North America, and I led and developed the entire pipeline for a machine learning project - Traffic Sign Recognition System. I am skilled in Python/C/C++ Programing, Machine Learning frameworks: Tensorflow and Keras, PyTorch, CNN training, OpenCV, and microcontrollers programming. I am also a student leader with a demonstrated history of working and leading with students and student organizations in the higher education industry. Fun fact: I grew up in 3 different cities across the world and I speak 3 different languages.
