Ziqi Cui, Senior, Electrical and Computer Engineering major Ziqi is an international student from Tianjin, China. He likes to try different things and learn about different areas of electrical engineering. He joined the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society in November 2018. During his junior year, he got an internship at China National Petroleum Corporation and joined DEMA Instrument Research Institute, where he was responsible for sensor design and assembly. In August of the same year, Ziqi joined the company's research team and began to research the new chromatograph, which responsible for electrical control and test data analysis. The project was completed in January 2020, and the journal paper "Development and Application of Wellhead Chromatograph" was published in June of the same year. In the summer of 2020, Ziqi participated in the summer research project at the University of Florida and followed Professor Bretas to study the topic related to two-dimensional transmission line modeling.
