A set of AVR programs which includes a remote program and a robot program. Each microcontroller is either loaded with the remote program or the robot program. The remote sends movement commands to the robot via USART over an infrared transmitter and receiver. Each remote and robot have unique bot addresses and the robot will only receive instructions from a remote with the same address as the robot's address. The remote can also send a freeze command, which causes the robot associated with the remote to send a freeze signal over the infrared transmitter which will freeze all nearby robots for 5 seconds.
