We decided to do the emotion challenge for our robot Larry who uses a basic two moat setup with the board at the center. We had our robot cycle through several different movement types and led colors to depict four different emotions. We are scared, happy, angry and sad emotions depicted in our robot. First emotion scared runs three times and has yellow lights and shakes from side to side by alternating forward and backward motor control and backs away from you. Happy runs twice and does a spinny dance where it spins quickly in circles with alternating wheel directions and motor power with several delays between each, and has green lights. Then it gets angry and shakes with anger before winding up to hit you with flashing red lights. This is done similarly to scared with the shake but then simply has a low power backwards motion then a strong forward motion. Then finally it's sad where it slowly moves forward and looks left and right before backing away realizing it is alone with blue led lights. This again uses alternating wheel power to pivot left and right and the slowest wheel speed of 190. All our motor speeds are controlled by the mySpeed variable to alter the motor speed.
