All-Printed and Flexible Low Cost Diodes ECE443-Sp26

This project explores the development of low-cost, flexible photodiodes fabricated through plasma jet printing. The devices are built on a flexible Kapton substrate using an interdigitated electrode (IDE) architecture, where conductive nanoparticle ink and a semiconductor interlayer are deposited via printing. The work aims to establish that fully printed photodiodes can match the performance of conventional devices while significantly lowering fabrication costs and unlocking new possibilities in flexible electronics.
