Presenting "The Cool Portable Timer," a stylish and intuitive tool that promises to transform time management for everyone. With the help of this portable timer's user-friendly interface, users can easily change the time variables up or down to suit their demands. With its handy on/off switch, users can effortlessly manage power usage, guaranteeing maximum longevity of the battery. Modern technology is employed by the Cool Portable Timer to provide a flawless user experience. Users may fine-tune their timing requirements with its configurable timer settings, and the 440 Hz tone guarantees distinct and loud notifications when the allotted time is up. This 9V battery-operated portable timer is incredibly versatile, allowing users to remain organized and on schedule no matter where they go, no need to stay stuck to an outlet! One of the biggest challenges we had when creating The Cool Portable Timer was the proper implementation of our user interface. Our button layout caused multiple issues when we attempted to integrate it into our system, we had to revise the wiring multiple times to get it working as intended. We also struggled with proper microcontroller selection, initially, we used an ATMega32U4 but after vigorous attempts at integration, we eventually decided to switch to an Arduino Mega board which required a major revamp in our project. In the end, we were able to resolve these issues and were satisfied with the final result!
