Educational Android game designed to teach kids math (K-8) through a fun and engaging explore, collect, and customize loop. Key features include: -Use of real-time map services to navigate real-world maps to find collectible hotspots. -Augmented Reality (AR) gameplay so players can interact with their customizable companions. -Timed-math questions tuned to the player's grade that reward customization items. -User-interface and backend data structure that supports billions of possible customization combinations for the player's collected companions (called PEMDAS). The primary "Adventure" game mode focuses on exploring the world to find an item hotspot location. Once interacted with on the map, the player starts an AR collection mini-game with their current creature follower. If they finish this minigame, they move to a math quiz scene where they have a chance to answer a series of questions, earning a customization item for each correct answer. The menu and inventory portions of the game support viewing collected creatures and applying any of the customizations collected to them. There is also a "Playroom" section for players that just want to have unstructured, low-pressure interactions with their current creature companion in an AR scene. Tech Stack: -Unity (game development engine) -C# (scripting language) -ARCore package for Unity (AR) -Mapbox package for Unity (Realtime Map Services)
