My robot is Super Trouper. Through the aesthetic challenge, I created a dance inspired by Super Trouper from Mamma Mia. I took inspiration from the movie scene and replicated some moves I saw as well as just capturing the essence of the song. Through establishing basic moves, I used the motors to create a forward, reverse, and spins in each direction. These movements allow for a large combination of choreography, allowing me to separate each piece of the song. In my code, I use the comments to indicate the part of the song and describe the dance moves. After programming the dance, I synced the moves to the song and altered the timing to make rhythmic sense. With the dance complete, I attempted to emulate the costumes from Mamma Mia. The costume base is made from cardboard. I used hot glue and tape to make a box to cover the board and wiring. I painted the cardboard with navy blue and light green to create the ombre effect. Along with the paint, I trimmed paper to look like fringe to match the costumes from Mamma Mia.
