We made our Arduino Bot with a classy, fun design. We 3d printed a ball which we taped with reflective tape to give our spinning and blinking lights some flare on the dance floor. We came up with this idea when we sorted through things that we could add to our robot from previous assignments. One of those things was the lights we used in studios, from there we tried to replicate the blinking sequence while the robot was spinning. We had to adjust the time that the clockwise function was on delay so that it would spin for longer like a disc ball. The last step in the code we had to figure out was how to make the lights blink separately so they weren't all off or on at the same time. To make the disco ball itself we searched for a simple ball with holes to print. Once we printed the ball, we fed the lights in and glued them into place. We added silver tape to give a better feel of a disco ball, and more to the body of the robot to give it a better aesthetic.
