Designed and implemented a portable and robust insulin containment unit that preserves medication at a stable temperature for up to a week. This project started as a business class project, later we turned it into a real startup with over $8000 of prize winnings from over 5 pitch competitions. As the project developed more it became a capstone engineering project. Medivacc is a project that is able to combine energy efficient analog design, C/C++ embedded programming, and material science research, as well as robust enclosure design. The end product has 3 modular components and over 6 student-designed PCBs.
