Me and my partner built a robot displaying one of the three challenges that were listed. We decided to do the emotion challenge and that is where happiness, fear, sadness, and anger, are all displayed in a robot. The corresponding lights are green, yellow, blue, and red. Each emotion is associated with an action so for example when the robot is scared, it trembles. There were many challenges associated with this project, one major example is how the sensor wouldn't even work. The sensor was not working, and we could not figure out why. We tried to troubleshoot and figure out the problem, but nothing worked. We even thought we could go without the sensor, but we discovered that we needed it later for the happy emotion, so we got a new one. The code for this project was very interesting and new for both of us. We were used to C and python and nothing like this. Of course we experimented with Arduinos before, but nothing on this scale. Overall, the project was fun to work with, a challenge to, but rewarding in the end. If I had to change one thing, it would be how the sad emotion is displayed but other than, I am happy with the robot.
