P.U.M.P.

Spring 2025

The outdoors industry has grown at a massive rate in recent years, which also includes water purification products like ‘LifeStraw’ or ‘Sawyer Squeeze’. While these products have made water purification on the go extremely accessible, when attempting to process larger quantities of water, it becomes more difficult and time consuming. For those traveling with families or larger groups this issue is amplified. We want to solve this problem with the PUMP. The PUMP is a portable water purifier that can purify up to 1L of water at a time. Furthermore, our electronically powered purifier can be charged via any 12v supply including a car's electrical system allowing for off the grid applications. This allows users to access clean water despite being away from electrical infrastructure for many days at a time. In addition, our system provides users with water quality information to which provides users with ease of mind. We believe this product will greatly benefit the camping and road trip community while also providing temporary relief in emergency situations.
