Crawdad Bot: Crawdad catching practice robot

This is Crawdad Bot, he is designed to move, look, and feel just like a real crawdad (plus a few extra wires and wheels). When I was younger I used to love going to the river and catching crawdads, however I don't have the time for that these days so I wanted to make a crawdad robot that I could practice catching. Crawdad Bot was made for my engr103 final project and he will be competing in the "aesthetic challenge", which was to decorate your robot and create code that connects to the decorations. This led me to program Crawdad Bot to swim around the room on a loop, but whenever it sees something too close for comfort it darts backwards and turns away just like a real crawdad would. This is perfect for training in the art of crawdad catching so when you experience the real thing you'll be ready. Crawdad Bot is made using an esp32 board and programmed using the Arduino software. It uses dual motors to get around and a distance sensor out front to see if it needs to run away. All of these features allow Crawdad Bot to be as lifelike as possible and we hope you like him as much as I do.
